Tree Removal

A Skilled Approach

Tree removal is sometimes unavoidable. Poor planting locations, unexpected growth, and our harsh Zone 3 climate with its dry conditions and fluctuating Chinooks often lead to tree decline. Disease, pests, and structural instability can make removal the safest option.

At Cochrane Tree Care, we take a holistic perspective when assessing removals. Before recommending removal, we explore alternatives such as canopy reduction, cabling weak limbs, or improving soil health. If your tree is in decline, there may still be options to save it.

Expert & Safe Tree Removal

If removal is necessary, we ensure it is done safely and efficiently. Our team specializes in technical removals, including trees in confined spaces with little drop zone. We are certified climbers and fallers through Arboriculture Canada and the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Safety is our top priority, and we carry full insurance and WCB coverage for your peace of mind.

Sustainability – The 2:1 tREeCYCLE Program

Unlike traditional tree removal services, we believe in replenishing what we take. Cochrane Tree Care is part of Atmos Tree, a regenerative arborist alliance founded by Kurt. Through our 2:1 tREeCYCLE program, we plant two trees for every removal to help offset the impact and contribute to global reforestation.
